HI GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it has been about a month since I last posted something on this blog. Thanks for your messages and for asking if I am ok. I AM FINE! :D:D :D: D:D:D:D:D:

Just real life caught up to me. I got the job I really wanted so that has kept me busy, but I have been adapting quite well to my new responsibilities and I am absolutely happy about making that huge change in my life.

I have also been riding. Good news!!! I no longer have any knee pain. I believe after I started riding my FS bike, I needed a minor cleat adjustment that made a HUGE difference. I no longer have pain and the pronation of my right leg that I had going on was corrected and I am now riding hard again.

Weather in Miami is cooling down, which means I get to ride in nicer weather. Only bad thing is that DST is approaching and I will not be able to ride as much during the week.

So since I am writing this post in a rush….I will briefly list a few awesome things that have happened lately. Please tell me how you guys are doing???

1. I miss blogging, I seriously do.

2. I love my job.

3. I really enjoyed this past halloween. I looked like a dead person? Something like that. Last minute costume idea.

4. I love my job.

5. I still love riding my bike.

6. Intense Spider is kind of a heavy frame, so I might want to sell it and buy a lighter one. In the meantime, it’s great.

7. My boyfriend is getting me a NINER EMD 29er for my bday/Xmas. I am super excited, I’m going BIG. Gonna post pics when it arrives. I AM SUPER STOKED.

8. I miss you guys and your stories. I promise to catch up with everyone soon. I will be back to blogging more constantly soon.

9. I’m running out of things to say.

11.OH, FAT TIRE FESTIVAL IS NEXT WEEKEND!!!! The day I have been waiting for!!!! I cannot celebrate my birthday in a better way.

My life has been quite hectic lately. I start a new job on Monday and I have been trying to leave things up to date at my old job for the past 4 days.

Good thing is that I got to ride some awesome trails and camped in 60 degree weather last weekend in central Florida. The trip I had been waiting for finally happened and it was awesome. The trails in Santos were smooth and fast, mainly singletrack, but had an advanced section called The Vortex where I got to ride some of the most advanced trails I have ever seen with this pair of eyes. It sort of freaked me out a bit because the trails could be ridden in two ways, so if not careful enough, one can easily run into another rider. 

After riding Santos for two days, I got to ride at Alafia River State Park in Tampa, along with Balm Boyette Scrub Preserve mountain biking trails. NOW.THAT.WAS.BEAUTIFUL. I fell in love with the trails at Alafia. No words can describe how pretty the scenery was. It smelled like tranquility, beauty, and nature. And since I’m not very good at describing things, I will just share some pictures following this post.

Only downfall though :( :( :((( which makes me sad as fuh… Riding the new Intense Spider frame I got has caused some pain in the inside of my knees. I have done a bit of research and what I can find is that my cleats are positioned incorrectly. I will test a few changes made to the position of my cleats and then I will see if that makes it better. If not, I’m afraid the geometry of the frame, though it is the adequate size for me, is not suitable for the type of riding I do. the Spider XVP is a race frame and I guess I’m not off my saddle enough to alleviate the pain.
